At its core

Diamond is Carbon

Swarovski is a well-cut glass

Gold and Silver are just another metal on the periodic table

The piece of a cloth is just some intertwined threads

A portion of land is clay, gravel, some inorganic matter, along with a dash of trees, shared with the microbial world, and if lucky, then some vertebrates and invertebrates

Cash is paper and metal exchanged for things

Looking at things at their bare core maintains their actual value as opposed to perceived worth. Competition and human emotion give lustre or perspective to otherwise immaterial objects.

But am I ready for the bare core? Well, imagine, when you go to a shop next time, how would you react if a shopkeeper greets you with-
“Greetings, how can I manipulate you?”
